Nature to Nurture provides specialist SEND support, EHCP advice, and EOTAS provision — helping families, schools and local authorities navigate the system with confidence and compassion.
Nature to Nurture was founded on the belief that every child — regardless of need, background or circumstance — has the right to feel understood, valued and genuinely supported. I'm Rhiannon, and this is my life's work.
With over 20 years' experience working with children and families in a wide range of roles, my commitment to this work runs deep — both professionally and personally. I have been a foster carer to a child with autism and complex needs, and I am a parent to a child with autism and EBSA. I know first-hand how daunting and exhausting the system can be, and I bring that lived understanding to every family I work with.
Every service is tailored to the individual. Whether you're a parent feeling lost in the system, a school seeking advice, or a local authority looking for independent expertise — I can help.
Detailed review of an Education, Health and Care Plan against the Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND Code of Practice — identifying gaps, non-compliance, and areas for discussion and improvement.
Professional preparation of supporting documentation including Parent/Carer Statements, Third Party Statements, Child Abilities Evidence, and more — all ready to submit.
As a registered EOTAS provider, I work directly with children and young people in a personalised and tailored way. Sessions are built around each child — following their lead, supporting their interests, and building genuine trust at their own pace. The focus is on helping each child feel heard, valued, and safe with a familiar adult. Availability is limited.
1:1 Provision · £65/hrEmpowering parents and carers to understand their rights, communicate effectively with schools and the local authority, and advocate confidently for their child.
Independent liaison and representation with schools and Local Authorities — attending meetings, reviewing correspondence, and ensuring children's legal entitlements are met.
Practical legal analysis of your child's EHCP and wider provision — identifying the Local Authority's non-negotiable duties, areas for discussion or review, and the options available to families and professionals when provision may not yet be meeting a child's needs.
Supporting families and local authorities in arranging and accessing Education Other Than At School provision for children who are unable to attend a school setting. I can help identify suitable provision, review EOTAS packages within an EHCP, and ensure the Local Authority is meeting its legal duty to provide a full-time, suitable education.
I offer specialist SEND consultancy to schools, nurseries, alternative provision settings, charities, and other organisations working with children and young people. This includes staff training, policy review, EHCP process guidance, and strategic advice on meeting the needs of pupils with SEND. Payment arrangements and scheduling are agreed in advance at an initial meeting.
As a qualified Thrive Practitioner, I offer Thrive-based sessions to support children and young people's social and emotional development. Using the Thrive Approach, sessions help children to feel safe, connected, and ready to learn — delivered in a warm, child-led and relationship-based way.
* In person sessions: Available across Nottingham and beyond. Mileage and any accommodation costs will be discussed and agreed with you prior to work commencing.
As a registered EOTAS provider, I offer personalised and tailored 1:1 provision — a calm, pressure-free environment away from the demands of a school setting. Every session follows the child's lead, building trust at their pace and supporting their individual interests, so they feel genuinely heard and supported by a familiar adult.
The best measure of this work is the difference it makes to real families at their most stressful moments.
